What Is Reiki ?

What Is Reiki ?

Reiki (pronounced Ray-kee) is Japanese for Universal Life Force or Spiritually-Guided Energy. Rei means Universal or all-knowing and all-encompasing. Ki means life-force energy and is the same as Chi in Chinese or Prana in Sanskrit.

Reiki is a complementary, alternative or spiritual therapy that has been used to help heal almost any dis-ease or imbalance that you can think of. The most common of these, being stress-related disorders, which make up at least 75% of America's visits to the hospital.

Reiki is totally non-invasive and the client is fully clothed during a session. Reiki can be done anywhere and at any time. Anyone can learn and practice Reiki successfully!

What is Meditation?

by Barazandeh @ 2007-08-26 - 06:06:59 am

What is Meditation?
Meditation is a method for acquainting our mind with virtue. The more familiar our mind is with virtue, the calmer and more peaceful it becomes. When our mind is peaceful we are free from worries and mental discomfort, and we experience true happiness.
If we train our mind to become peaceful we will be happy all the time, even in the most adverse conditions. But if our mind is not peaceful, even if we have the most pleasant external conditions we will not be happy. Therefore it is important to train our mind through meditation.
There are two types of meditation: analytical meditation and placement meditation. When we contemplate the meaning of a Dharma instruction that we have heard or read we are doing analytical meditation. By deeply contemplating the instruction, eventually we reach a conclusion or cause a specific virtuous state of mind to arise. This is the object of placement meditation. Having found our object through analytical meditation, we then concentrate on it single-pointedly for as long as possible to become deeply acquainted with it. This single-pointed concentration is placement meditation. Often, analytical meditation is called simply `contemplation', and placement meditation simply `meditation'. Placement meditation depends upon contemplation, and contemplation depends upon listening to or reading Dharma instructions.

Feng shui is :

by Barazandeh @ 2007-08-26 - 05:41:32 am

Feng shui is :
Feng Shui (also known as "geomancy") is part of ancient Chinese philosophy and metaphysics and means wind and water, which are the two fundamental forms of life energy. Feng Shui studies life energy and tries to understand the movement of energy in our environment and how the design of buildings and interiors affects us in a subtle manner. Feng Shui uses positive 'chi' to improve an individual's good luck and success.
Everything that exists contains 'chi' (qi), the energy or life force. This 'chi' possesses two properties, yin (receptive) and yang (active)—they are opposites and cannot exist without the other. Within the 'chi', eight constituents compose the universe (the Lake, the Mountain, Fire, Water, Heaven, Thunder, Wind, and Earth). Each trigram, or combination of three yin/yang elements, represents a particular quality and pattern of energy. In turn, the proper arrangement of these energetic qualities would affect not only the 'chi' of the environment, but that of the individual within the environment as well. With feng shui, the goal is to bring both into harmony so as to foster prosperity, health, and well-being with the Wind (feng) dispersing the 'chi' throughout the universe and Water (shui).

Feng shui :

by Barazandeh @ 2007-08-26 - 05:16:51 am

Feng shui :
Feng shui is a technique for bringing balance to one's home, business and the land that surrounds them. arrangement of a home greatly influences the lives of all its occupants. The alignment of furniture, color schemes, and accessories create an environment that both relaxes and invigorates those who live there. Simply moving a few objects or repainting a room can have a significant impact. Misfortunes such as poor health, financial problems, marital or relationship troubles, and infertility can be attributed to a house in which feng-shui principles have been ignored...

WHAT IS TELEPATHY?

by Barazandeh @ 2007-08-10 - 04:30:19 am

Telepathy comes from the Greek words tele (distant) and pathe (occurrence or feeling). The term was first coined in 1882 by the French psychical researcher, Fredric W. H. Myers, a founder of the Society for Psychical Research (SPR). Descriptions of telepathy have been found in ancient writings and oral lore.

Basically, telepathy is the awareness of another person´s mental and emotional experience. This communication can include thoughts, ideas, feelings, sensations and mental images and may involve direct mind-to-mind communication. Telepathy is difficult to distinguish from clairvoyance, but there is a difference so tread carefully.

What is Telepathy?
The word telepathy came from the two Greek words “tele” and “apathe” where the first means distant or far and the second’s means feeling. Telepathy is thought to be a from of communications between minds, someone just thinks about something or about someone else and the other person receives this thought or idea.

One exercise to learn Telepathy

by Barazandeh @ 2007-08-10 - 04:11:40 am

Following is the one exercise to learn Telepathy using colors, do the following,

1. Take an object in 7 different colours

2. sit with another person and be present in the moment and assume roles of sender and receiver

3. still your mind and do not think about any place, people etc

4. sender will think of 1 color in his mind and then send this color to the mind of other person that is receiver by saying the word begin

5. receiver tries to guess the name of the color that is in sender’s mind by connecting his minds with sender and he may recall the name of any color

6. If receiver is correct try to send the other color, and if he is incorrect try to send the same color until sender gets the correct color.

7. revise this exercise and increase the time duration with passage of time.

Telepathy is a direct way of communication that is done by transferring thoughts from sender’s mind to the receivers’ mind without saying or writing something. The only contact is between two minds.

There are 3 types of Telepathy as:
• Physical telepathy
• Emotional telepathy
• Mental telepathy

What is telepathy ?

by Barazandeh @ 2007-08-10 - 03:58:35 am

The simplest definition of telepathy can be stated as direct communication between minds.

There is several forms of telepathy :
The transmission of feeling , those feelings will be usually registered in the solar plexus. This kind of telepathy is very common among humans , animals and vegetables .
The transmission of emotions and images . This kind of telepathy is also common among humans. I had to do an exercise which was to note every coincidence that could indicate manifestation of telepathy in a single day I noted 6 coincidences or synchronicity phenomena as would have say the psychologist Carl Jung.
The transmission of words and phrases. This kind of telepathy is the most complex to achieve and require training.
