Telepathy comes from the Greek words tele (distant) and pathe (occurrence or feeling). The term was first coined in 1882 by the French psychical researcher, Fredric W. H. Myers, a founder of the Society for Psychical Research (SPR). Descriptions of telepathy have been found in ancient writings and oral lore.
Basically, telepathy is the awareness of another person´s mental and emotional experience. This communication can include thoughts, ideas, feelings, sensations and mental images and may involve direct mind-to-mind communication. Telepathy is difficult to distinguish from clairvoyance, but there is a difference so tread carefully.
